Happiness is...a good hair day.

In Houston these so-called "good hair days" are few and far between (thanks, humidity). When I lived in Lubbock while attending Texas Tech, there was never any humidity and hair stayed perfectly de-frizzed and nice and teased- it is Texas, after all :) I definitely miss those days, but now that it is getting a little cooler in Houston, my hair is back on track to have a few more good days!
Here are some of my daily hair essentials:

1. I don't go anywhere without a teasing comb. Find one at any drugstore for $2-$4.
2. Agdir Hair Shield- I straighten or curl my hair every day so hair protection is a must!
3. CHI Straightener- I have been a loyal CHI consumer since my very first straightener and have always loved it!
4. Curling Wand- I have yet to buy one of these amazing tools, but did a hair-do for a HS Homecoming not to long ago and loved using this wand! Her curls turned out ahh-mazing. See the pic below :)
5. Moroccan Oil Volume Booster- As I mentioned earlier, it's Texas and big hair is a must. I use this root booster for a little extra volume.
6. Nexxus Shampoo & Conditioner- This is what I am using currently and really like so far! I have tried several- my favorite are definitely all Pureology products.
7. CHI Blow Dryer- This one is on my Christmas list! I used a friends recently and it made my hair feel so smooth.
8. I always seal the deal (well, the hairstyle) with Aussie Hair spray.

Here is the hair I did for a HS Homecoming: I teased the top, braided the top, and curled the bottom using a curling wand. She had beautiful, healthy hair so it made it easy!

Here is a snap of my hair straight and curly- s/o to the talented Kori Ward for my amazing balayage! (Gloss Studio)

Current Music Vibe: Carrie Underwood's new CD is so good! I have had this one song on repeat.
