Holiday Place Cards How-To


I could spend HOURS in Hobby Lobby, especially during the holidays. I love to decorate and craft and Hobby Lobby always has so many great ways to save with their deals. Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I was feeling inspired to add a little fun to the table with these holiday place cards! I love personalized things and these will definitely add a unique touch to any gathering. Impress your guests and add these cute holiday place cards to your table this year. (P.S. all of these can be made in 20 minutes or less and for under $10...even better, right?!)

CLASSIC THANKSGIVING TABLE INSPIRATION

"Theres is always something to be thankful for."

Name Card Supplies:

Glue Gun + Floral stem (all Fall items are 80% off at Hobby Lobby!)+ White Cards ($1.89 for 12)+ Calligraphy Pen (substitue with a sharpie or pen if you don't have one)+ Scrapbook Paper ( I used a burnt orange but use any fall color!)

Instructions:

1. Cut the floral off of the stem so they fit the card size

2. Cut out 1" x 3" pieces from the scrapbook paper to write the names of your guests on

3. Hot glue the floral piece to the paper and hot glue the name over the floral piece

Time to make: >20 Minutes

SPARKLE & SHINE THIS THANKSGIVING

"Be kind. Be thoughtful. Be genuine. But most of all, be thankful."

Name Card Supplies:

Glue Gun + Floral stem in the middle for table decoration (all Fall items are 80% off at Hobby Lobby!)+ White Cards ($1.89 for 12)+ Calligraphy Pen (substitue with a sharpie or pen if you don't have one)+ Scrapbook Paper ( I used the same burnt orange from above PLUS a super sparkly paper to match) + tiny clothespins

Instructions:

1. Cut out 1" x 3" pieces from the scrapbook paper to write the names of your guests on using a calligraphy tool or Sharpie

2. Cut out a square of the sparkly paper to go behind the name tag and glue together

3. Use a clothespin to attach to the white card

Time to make: >20 Minutes

TIP: These would make the perfect "Friendsgiving" place settings :)

FOR THE TABLE (OR BUFFET) FOOD LABELS

If you have a big family like mine, you probably have to do a buffet style Thanksgiving. These festive food tags for Thanksgiving or Christmas will make the food table (whether it's a buffet or on the table) look Instagram worthy!

Food Label Supplies:

Floral lavender stem (all Fall items are 80% off at Hobby Lobby!)+ White Cards ($1.89 for 12)+ Calligraphy Pen (substitue with a sharpie or pen if you don't have one)+ poinsetta floral stickers (any holiday sticker will work well) + tiny clothespins

Instructions:

1. Use the white cards to write the food items using the calligraphy pen or Sharpie

2. Cut the lavender off of the stem and attach to the card using the clothespin

3. Stick the holiday theme floral to the top of the card and voila!

Time to make: >10 Minutes

HAVE YOURSELF A FESTIVE LITTLE CHIRSTMAS

The holidays are all about spending time with family and friends! This year my friends and I are having our 2nd Annual Secret Santa exchange and I am so excited! stay tuned for party deets ;) These name tags turned out so pretty and were so simple to create.

Name Card Supplies:

Glue Gun + Holiday sparkly stem (pictured below) (all Christmas items are 50% off at Hobby Lobby!)+ Calligraphy Pen (substitue with a sharpie or pen if you don't have one)+ Scrapbook Paper ( I used a sheer sheet with a glittery paper to put behind the name

Instructions:

1. Cut the sparkly stems so they fit the length of the name card size

2. Cut out 1" x 3" pieces from the sheer scrapbook paper to write the names of your guests on

3. Hot glue the holiday sparkly stem and the name on the sheer paper to the glittery paper

Time to make: >20 Minutes
