Workouts in the Park


Happy Black Friday! Although most people are out getting their cardio in while shopping, I skipped the Black Friday madness and headed out to my favorite spot in Houston this morning to work off some of my Thanksgiving eats and sweets ;) Eleanor Tinsley park is close to my apartment and I love to run outside and get creative with different workouts here.

Here's a few of my favorite workouts and must have accessories!

I always have my Polar watch on when I workout. I love to see my heartrate and calories I've burned!

Another workout essential is my arm band. I always have to have some jams going to keep me going :)

Park Workout Routine Ideas

1. I use the Map My Run App to track how far I run and usually go about two miles (about 1 mile out and then I run back to the park to do some more workouts below).

2. Run Stairs

3. Lunges

4. Tricep Dips

5. Situps

6. Abs: I have the Kayla Itsines workout guides and get a lot of ideas from her that I do here!

7. Pushups
