Top 15 in 2015

2015 has been a great year! I'm excited to ring in 2016 but wanted to share a few of my favorite moments this year.

Wishing you a great NYE!

xoxo, Megan

TOP 15 in 2015

#1. THE BIG MOVE

#1 started with moving to the heart of Houston... Midtown! I love living in the city and love my apartment. Definitely a year of "firsts"- like learning how to pay bills and then forgetting to pay bills and all that adult stuff ;)

# 2. NEW YORK, NEW YORK!

What isn't there to love about NYC? We had a jam packed schedule on our girls trip to the Big Apple in January and I have some of the best memories like ice skating in Central Park, walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, buying my first LV, visiting Ground Zero, touring Time Square, having Breakfast at Tiffany's and so much more!

#3. 2015= YEAR OF WEDDINGS

We attended just a few weddings this year ;) I loved being a part of so many special days of lots of great friends! Here are a few of my favorite wedding pics.

#4. ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS

Mattress FIrm was a sponsor of the ACM Lifting Lives Gala in April and it was one of my favorite sponsorships to work on all year, especially because I'm a big country music fan. I was so excited to get a chance to attend the ACM's in Dallas and get the VIP experience with some of my coworkers. I also got to meet Kacey Musgraves but to be honest I was probably more excited about seeing the ad I worked on in the ACM program (right next to Taylor Swift's bio) :) #marketingnerd

#5. WASHINGTON D.C

I loved experiencing DC with some of my best friends in March! Check out more from my trip here.

# 6. BEING A BRIDESMAID

I was so honored to stand by my sweet, longtime friend, Melanie, as she married the man of her dreams! Her and Andrew met at the Air Force academy and it was the perfect Colorado wedding!

# 7. HIKING IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS

#8. JOINING AN INTRAMURAL SOCCER TEAM

I am NOT a soccer player so it's acutally pretty funny I ended up on a team, but it has been so much fun! I actually recently just scored MY FIRST GOAL and was just a tad excited about it.

#9. BRITNEY SPEARS IN LAS VEGAS

Basically every 90's girl dream. It was such an amazing show and a great trip to Vegas!

#10. VISITING THE CHICAGO BEAN

Mattress Firm sponsored the Chicago Film Festival this summer and I was so happy to get to go and cross seeing "The Bean" off my bucket list- so now I can say I've BEAN there, done that. Chicago is gorgeous! I can't wait to go back and spend more time in this city.

11. BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE DREAM BED

One of my FAVORITE projects to be involved in all year was helping with the launch of The Dream Bed. With every purchase of The Dream Bed, we donate a mattress to someone in need of one and I was part of the team who went on the first Dream Bed Give in Minneapolis. I was also able to get to go behind the scenes of the product and lifestyle photoshoot while I was there and it was such an awesome experience for me. I can't wait to see where the brand continues to go in 2016. #dreamitforward

#12. EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

If you can't tell, I love my job. They call me Mattress Meg and for one month this year I also got to go by "Employee of the Month". It may be corny, but it was also really special to me to get that and I'm so glad I get to work with the coolest people at the greatest company everyday!

#13. DANCING WITH THE STARS

AHHHHH!!! I have to say, I am still freaking out over this one. For Christmas, my best friend bought me tickets to the Dancing With The Stars Live Tour in Houston and as fate would have it, they asked for audience participation to go on stage. We randomly got picked to go up on stage and literally DANCE WITH THE STARS. I got to meet all my fave dancers and although my attempt at the salsa wasn't that great, the experience was! I'm such a fan of the show and so it was definitely one of the BEST Christmas presents ever.

#14. JUSTIN BIEBER

We randomly decided to go to the Q&A with Justin Bieber at the Toyota Center not knowing what to expect and we ended up with 4th row seats to one of the best shows I've ever been to! I am proud to say I'm ending 2015 with Bieber-Fever.

#15. FAMILY SKI TRIP IN BRECKENRIDGE

There's nothing like family. I am so blessed to have such a great one and have some of the best memories from our ski trip like dog sledding and more!
