Mattress Meg here and I'm excited to share some behind the scenes moments with the Houston Texans today! Right now we have a marketing intern who's been working on our team for the past few weeks and fun fact, he is also an Offensive Lineman for the Houston Texans! Karim Barton is one of only 26 players in the NFL who currently take part in off season internships. His story is really incredible and we're so glad to have him on board as a member of the Mattress Firm Family! He works out every morning with some of his teammates before coming into work and today we got the chance to hear Karim ask his teammates how they #SleepLikeATexan after their practice! I felt like Erin Andrews on the sidelines and Aaron Rodgers on the field (we threw the ball a few times and Karim practiced his snaps while I played QB...totally killed it. Just kidding, I totally did not but I tried.) They all were so nice and it was so cool to hear their answers to how they sleep before a big game, how sleep affects their performance on the field and more! It's also a pretty fun experience for me because I was once a marketing intern at Mattress Firm for 3 years so it's really awesome that the next intern we've had on our team is a Houston Texan!
