I had a MUCH needed getaway weekend in New Braunfels with my best friend, her sis (well, basically my sis too) and her friend this past weekend. Last week was just one of those weeks I just kind of just wanted to be over and forget and so it was literally perfect timing to just pack a bag, hop in the car, jam out to Drake/ Kanye (yeah, we can't believe we like him either), and head out of town with my best friend. There's something therapeutic about travelling when you have a lot going on and it definitely helped to be road trippin', floatin' and two steppin' away from Houston last weekend. I haven't floated the Guadalupe River in FOR-EV-ER and forgot how peaceful, pretty and fun it is. Well, minus the occasional rapids, the drop off and the bruise I'll have from smashing into a rock... :) Nonetheless we had such a blast!
So thankful for this friend/ sister who I literally do not know how I'd make it through life without.
I hope you all had a fun weekend and have a GREAT week at work. I know I'm super excited for this week....mainly because the Christmas Day of Marketing happens on Wednesday. GOOGLE and YOUTUBE will be in the house for our 2nd annual brainstorm meeting and I am so pumped! Plus, Mattress Firm turns the dirty-30 this weekend and we're having an 80's party (you know, since we were founded in 1986) on Friday to celebrate. Really thankful for all of the friends and co-workers/friends in my life, especially through the past few weeks. Love you all so, so much!
