Y'all, I can't believe I've been a full-timer for three whole years. Time has flown by and this last year has been especially memorable for me at work. I have had the most incredible opportunities, formed so many new friendships, grown and learned so much professionally, and continue to be filled with joy every day! Even on the days when I'm challenged or frustrated or not 100%, I feel truly blessed to have the job I do. If you haven't seen the YouTube video, "Jessica's Daily Affirmations", well that's actually me pretty much everyday. I love my coworkers, I love my team, I love the work I do, I love our vendor partners, I love my desk, I love running the Happy Store, I love our office, I love our leadership, I love the culture, I love the craziness, I love our customers...the list goes on.

I loved this quote from the newest draft pick of the Houston Texans about his experience as a newbie on the team during mini-camp. It reminds me of working here at Mattress Firm because everyone really does bring their A-game all the time. Everyone is smart and motivated and I feel inspired to push myself and be better every day. Also, our competitors and brands in general are bringing it every day so if you aren't, then you lose.
If you know me, you know how much I love being "Mattress Meg" and how passionate I am about working at Mattress Firm and I'm so excited about heading into year 4. I wouldn't be who I am without this company. I literally was a baby when I started 6 years ago as an intern. I'm so grateful for of the opportunities I've had and the friends I've made here and can't wait to keep bringing it every day.
